High School Chemistry will use the "Discovering Design with Chemistry" textbook and curriculum set. The set includes the answer key and tests. This is a college prep Chemistry class that can be an honors course if all modules are completed as closed book tests and all lab experiments are performed and fully documented. Students will execute most of the labs at co-op, with a few being completed at home. Students will be expected to keep a lab notebook. Completion of Algebra 1 is required for this course. Students can earn 1.5 high school credits since labs will be conducted in each class.
