This course will start with a review of paragraphs then jump into essay writing. Your students will start off with 3 paragraph essays and proceed into 5 paragraph essays. Students will cover the five main types of essays as well as an integration of grammar in each class. Literature will be introduced and they will be reading a few short novels each semester. Students will be introduced to literature analysis, literary terms, and concepts.
