What this class holds in store for you:
- Apply important real-life financial principles
- Make informed decisions about personal finance
- Navigate savings and loans, credit, investments, and financial planning
- A personal budget and cost analysis on buying vs. leasing, renting vs. buying, and a project on costs of living and education.
Students will read relevant books and hear from speakers in our community that have expertise in specific financial areas. They will also participate in a project-based curriculum having a hands-on experience playing a game of REAL LIFE. For their hands-on project they will be choosing a career path. After they figure out if they are going to buy or rent, they will be given different scenarios each week to work into their LIFE and budget. Curriculum is provided in cost of the class.
