This is an excellent introduction to the IEW method for students with little or no IEW writing (IEW A), and for those with at least a year experience for ongoing instruction in the program (IEW B). This course teaches key word outlines and stylistic techniques. Students use these tools while learning varied writing models: stories, reports, and inventive writing. Students will write on a variety of topics. Students should have a basic understanding of sentence writing and parts of speech. All materials will be provided by the instructor. There is an optional resource guide available for $5 for printing costs. Each student will need to purchase a student book on their own and a 3 ring binder with dividers.
